If you don’t know already, I’m going to be appearing at the Bath Festival of Children’s Literature this Sunday - I know, how fabulous is that? It’s not just me either, for the price of ONE ticket - £4.50 - you get my sweet self, the gorgeous Grace Dent and the fabulous Chris Higgins!

The Blurb: Teen fiction for girls is on a roll! This is your chance to hear Grace Dent, Lisa Clark and Chris Higgins talk about their marvellously readable latest books. Join three of the tip toppest writers for girls in this exciting and revealing event that is not to be missed.

Sunday 27th September - 12 - 12.45pm, Bath Guildhall

They’re right you know - you absolutely, positively shouldn’t miss it. It’ll be lots of fun and we’ll be signing books after the event too, so please come along and say ‘hi!’ - oh, and remember, I have a tooth missing at the side of my mouth, and it has to heal for three months, so no ‘are you an extra from Pirates of the Caribbean’ jokes ‘k? It’s still too soon…

Here at Pink-world we love fashion.
Fact.

So to celebrate London Fashion Week we’ve teamed up with Carphone Warehouse’s social networking initiative, begadgets www.bebo.com/begadgets to offer you fabulous Pink Ladies the chance to win a super-cute Sony Ericsson W595 Sakura.

The phone is not only packed with great features but it’s also the perfect fashion accessory! Technically, the Ericsson Sakura has a ‘Shake Control’ feature that allows users to skip backwards or forwards through music playlists, while the ‘SenseMe’ feature allows them to choose tracks based on the mood of the song, rather than the title or artist - cool, huh?

To be in with a chance of winning this fabu Sony Ericsonn W595 Sakura all you have to do is tell us what you would LOVE for your phone to do - maybe you’d like to be able to watch TV on the school bus or send your gal-pals a singing text? It can be as silly or as serious as you’d like, simply leave your suggestion below before the closing date - October 5th 2009 I’m sorry, but only UK Pink Ladies can enter…

begadgets was launched in August 2009 to bring young people and gadget lovers together to be able to exchange user experiences at a new level. It will keep you up-to-date with the latest’s gadget news, provide you with exclusive content, and give you the chance to enter exciting competitions.

Ohhh today is a sucky day. My childhood crush, Patrick Swayze, star of one of my all time fave movies Dirty Dancing, had died. How sad is that? I also loved him in Point Break and Ghost too, but in Dirty Dancing he was just so…um, sexy. I plan on re-watching it for the gazillionth time tonight and singing along to all the songs at the top of my voice in homage to the PS.

To add to the sucky-ness, I had to go to the dentist and PAY someone £70 to take a tooth out. Yep, I literally had to pay someone to inflict pain on me - rude and wrong. She then informed me that I couldn’t have a replacement until at least the end of November, so ’til then, I have to walk around with a whopping great big gap - it’s at the side, so v.visable - looking like an extra from Pirates of the Carribean…not cool.

Now, I’m not vain, but Peter Andre, my future husband, is at my local Asda on Saturday and while he’ll of course be woo-ed by my wit and charm, wooing will be substantially harder with a hole in the side of my mouth…I know, can you believe Peter Andre is going to be signing his new album at my local Asda? Operation ‘Make Peter my Husband’ is officially on, Pink Ladies - wish me luck!

How could I forget to add The X Factor to my list of current hearts…are you loving it?! I predict this guy to win - Olly - he makes me very happy - he’s got a touch o’ the Will Young, a li’l bit ‘o Gary Barlow and a whole lot of JT - a dream combo!

Firstly, I need to send a HUGE glitter filled hug o’ love to all of you who have written, emailed and left messages making sure I’m alright and asking me to update more often - yes, I’m fabu thanks for asking - I’ve been really busy making the Pink Palace pretty, writing and planning lots of new projects, all of which you’ll be the first to know about and doing lots of fun things with my gorgeous gal-pals - but I’m back in bloggin’ mode now and will bring you lots of fabu people, places and things you’ll love!

OHHHHH EXCITING NEWS - on October 16th, you must run, not walk, to your local Tammy where you absolutely positively HAVE to purchase a Lola Love t-shirt! I know, how freakin’ exciting is that? There are going to be actual t-shirts with the too-cute-for-words Lola Love on them - I’m in total heart with them as soon as I have a pic for you I’ll post it up here - they’re v.cool, I think you’ll heart them too!

MORE EXCITING NEWS - you can see me, the awesome Grace Dent and the fabulous Chris Higgins at Bath Kid’s Lit Festival on the 27th September - yep, 3 authors, one session = lots of giggles and fun! Please come along, we’d love to see you!
