I was a total obsess-o girl about ElleGirl magazine way into my twenties. The UK version was awesome x 100, but the original, the US version, rocked. Hard. I used to get it shipped over I loved it so much, and the main reason I loved it, was pretty much down to two girls - Melissa and Anna.

M & A used to be ed-girls at ElleGirl and created the sparkly, witty, kick-ass content that made it so unique. Sadly, the mag is no more - boo. But Melissa and Anna, in all their awesomeness, have created I heart daily a brand-spankin’-new online destination of complete zine-style deliciousness - hurrah!

Recently, I stayed over at the Beauty Mecca. Now, just like Pink Lady, Angel, BM is a total Beautista. I know this for sure because instead of food in the fridge, she has a HUGE selection of nail polishes - it makes them easier to apply, y’know! Anyway, her penthouse o’ pink is like a treasure chest of beauty treats and I love nothing more than trying out all her new prodz and potions.

On my recent visit, my fave discovery HAS to be, Spa Paradisa - Coconut and Frangipani Body Butter. It’s heaven in a jar. Fact.

Like this isn’t the best combo o’ fabulousness, EVER?!!! I am crushing x 100000000000 on Hugh Jackman. I LOVE him in the X Men movies, I LOVE him even more in Australia and now I just love him. Period.

Body types seem to come and go and then come right back into fashion again, so it would be super-silly to become obsess-o girl over a body shape that’s likely to change, right?

If you’ve read Livin’ La Vida Lola, you’ll know that thanks to Bella, Lola discovers the awesomeness that is zine making. Like Lola, I HEART zines, and while I’m STILL making mine, Girls Rock and Rule, my absolute favourite is Sugar Paper Zine created by the AH-MAZING Seleena and Kandy (read their inspirOgirl interview here).

I stopped the gorgeous Miss Seleena, mid cut and paste on issue 3, to ask her to create a too-cool-for-school Pink Ladies guide to zine making, and because she’s a huge helping of awesome sauce, she only blimmin’ did!

Sometimes chicas, bad stuff happens.

We argue with our parentals, the boy we’ve been crushing on for like, forever, doesn’t heart us back, we get bad marks for something we studied super-hard for, we fall out with our bff - whatever the ‘bad stuff’ is, an instant response is to take props from Grumpy Bear and develop a permanent raincloud of grump above our head. We want to crawl under our duvet indefinitely, only coming out to get another tub of ice cream from the fridge, right?
