So, I love chocolate and I love blogs, which is why I especially love Cocoa, the super-cute home to Miss Penelope Bat and her sweet-as-sugar musings of adorability. She also shares my passion for pugs, which makes her fabulous x 100.

We heart soapsicles!
Never heard of a Soapsicle before? Available from Soapylove, they’re bars of soap that are the same size as a real lickable popsicle - adorbz, right?
Not only are they totes cute to look at but the wood stick is really helpful when you have slippery hands - I want to eat them all up they’re so cute, ‘cept you really shouldn’t, because they’re soap, ‘k?
The amazing lady behind these sweet treats is Debbie Chialtis - come meet her, she’s cuteness on a lolly stick too!

It’s not often I discover cool music.
Don’t get me wrong, I dig a lot of cool, cool music, but it seems that when you work in the realms of teen-girl with a bombardment of McFly, Jonas Bros and The Days - which I totes love too btw, you do lose the ability to discover the new stuff. Case in point, I heard Panic At The Disco the other day and thought they were incredz, turns out they’ve been around for ages - who knew?
Not me.
Anyway, I have discovered Katy Perry.
Her album One of The Boys isn’t out here in the UK yet, but after hearing Katy’s tune-age online and realising she’s freakin’ awesome, I splashed the cash for an import. I dig her retro-girl stylin’ a LOT, her sassy ‘tude rocks and most of all, I love her tunes. They’re quite possibly the perfect soundtrack to being a girl - feisty and fabulous - LOVE.
I am every kind of sad that the amazing talent that was Cyd Charisse has died of a heart attack. Sad days.
Cyd Charisse, who brought sizzle and sophistication to dance in classic movie musicals such as Singin’ in the Rain and Band Wagon was a total hottie and owned the screen in every scene.
Charisse captured moviegoers’ attention in a quick succession of films, starting with the now infamous Singin’ in the Rain in 1952, in which she partnered with dancer and super-hot actor of the time, Gene Kelly in a steamy ballet.
Go rent yourself the movie right now and sigh at her beauty, tip-tap around your living room and sing at the top of your voice - I think Cyd would have liked that!
Meet Miss Aim’ee Louise Richards - my bee-you-tiful, totally talented gal-pal.
She’s a glamazon, she’s a fashionista and she has a huge passion for old movies. She’s living in Hong Kong right now, where she sometimes gets poked in the chest by umbrellas because she’s so fabulously tall. She dances in clubs that no one knows exist and she designs pretty, pretty underwear.
For tips and advice on choosing the right bra and why, Miss Aim’ee is your gal.
Introducing….Miss Aim’ee!

I get as excited about stationery as I do chocolate and cupcakes, so imagine my happiness when I found that they did the cult moleskine notebooks that I totally heart in pink? I obviously had to buy myself a complete set, because cute notebooks are an absolute necessity when writing cute books.

I think you are totally awesome and I’m completely in love with pink world =]
I just wondered if you had any tips you could share about getting into writing. How do you start off getting into journalism? And what sort of thing can you do to get your work noticed? Anything would be great!
Keep up the good work!
Emma xoxo
Ohhh, I’ve gone all period drama-esque and am currently reading a fabulous-o book, The Luxe by Anna Godbersen. It’s like Gossip Girl, but with frillier frocks and cut-a-dash boys - what’s not to love exactly?
The blurb: “…Glittering with jewels, brimming with secrets and loaded with eligible young men, this is New York City - 1899. Society’s elite: the glamour, the grandeur, the glittering parties, the most beautiful debutantes, the most handsome men. The rich girl, the humble boy, the forbidden love, the hushed whispers, the sin, the scandal, the mystery, the revenge.
You are cordially invited to step into The Luxe, where the secrets are dark and the sins are delicious…”
This is awesome.
Fact.
Over at Lolasland.com we have gone Ohh-la-la over all things Francais this week, so secure your beret as I take you on a scooter tour of the highlights you won’t wanna miss…

Sometimes life is a bit sucky.
This is factuality.
But when you realise you’ve taken a left turn into sucksville - which is just north of un-pretty town btw - a girl has got to thank her lucky twinkle-stars that she’s got a rather fabulous Think Pink vanity case…Every Pink Lady has one, it’s the law and everything, and each is filled to the brim with a li’l somethin’ somethin’ to help her deal with the negative ninas, the tough stuff, and the curve balls that life sometimes seems intent on throwing our way…
Which is why, on a recent trip to the ville o’ suck, one I don’t want to re-visit in a hurry, the contents of my very own Think Pink vanity case made sure my trip was short-stay and not long haul.
FYI: This is totally un-related, but wouldn’t this Lulu Guiness creation be the most perfect-o vanity case? I’m in total heart!
