Yep, it’s that time, it’s work it, girl time!
The very sparkly-gorgeous Pink Ladies, Shannon and Lauren, are getting their total fabulousness on to make sure 2008 is their happiest AND healthiest yet! And guess what? They’re sharing all their tips and techniques so we can join in too - whoop, whoop!
Go grab your pink sneakers, sweatbands and legwarmers combo, pronto!
Lauren and I started Getting Happy ‘N’ Healthy on Monday! I put loads of good exercise songs onto two CDs - one for me and one for Lauren ! I took a pic of the back of it - made by me!
If you’re planning on Getting Happy and Healthy, which really, why shouldn’t you ? Then how about you make your own CDs for you and your mission buddy with songs of your choice ?
You can use ours for ideas of course - we don’t mind!
We are aiming for an hour of exercise each day, which can be broken down to make it easier. On a Wednesday and a Friday, we have P.E for 40 minutes, so when we get home, we only have to do 20.
On a Tuesday and a Thurday, Lauren takes her dog for a 20 minute walk in the morning before school, so she just needs to do 40 minutes when she gets home!
This week, we’ve mainly been focusing on exercise and workouts, so next H&H sesh we’ll focus more on eating healthy foods!
We both need to drink more water - I have decided to take water to school to drink with my lunch every day and if I keep it up for 2 weeks, I can drink whatever I like with my lunch on the Friday. So every second Friday - as long as I’ve drank all my water every day - I can have a drink of my choice ! Cool huh ?
Lauren doesn’t really like water, but she’s going to try flavoured water instead until she finds something she likes!
We’ve both really enjoyed doing the workouts, especially with our custom CDs, so we’re deffo gonna keep this up - we’re feeling happier already !
So, if you haven’t already, get yourself a mission buddy and start Getting Happy ‘N’ Healthy !
See you in a fortnight Ladies!

WORKOUT MOVE OF THE H&H SESH!
Super-special Sit Ups
1. Lie down flat on your back. Stretch your arms out in front of you.
2. Pull yourself up - try not to cheat and lift your feet up!
3. Gently lower yourself back down and repeat for as long as you feel like it!
It’s our favourite moves that we’ve tried so far!
