Creative, Kooky, Fabulous, Fun, Smiley

How old are you and where are you from?
I am 12 ,but I made this when I was 10, and I am from Williamstown, thats a suburb of Melbourne is Australia.

How did you find out you were so talented at animation?
Well, I found out when I was in year 3 that I really liked cartooning, so i did a cartooning workshop at this place called Go-Motion Studios. Then I did a project called Bright Eyes, and that was where I created Dreaming of Chocolate. And Ross who works at Go-Motion told me that I had a real talent, and so did everybody else. (my Dad put it on the computers at school so my friends could see it, then the teachers found it and they showed there classes, then everyone knew.)

What got you into it?
That I loved to cartoon, so I tried animating, and I just love to think that one day I might make a movie that would find its way onto the silver screen.

How did you get so good?
Practice. No seriously practice is one of the key things that you can do. I do lots of animation courses.

What’s the idea behind your chocolate animation?
I originally had a robber stealing everybody’s dreams, but then that would of taken too long to do.

So I had Maxine’s (the brunette) friend, Lola (the blonde) steal the dream instead. Everybody thinks that I based the characters on me and my sister Andie, because she has long brown hair and I have blonde hair.

It’s funny to read when I google it what every body thinks they are.

Are you going to continue with animation?
I might, I mean I still have my whole life ahead of me, or I might be an author or a… I still really don’t know.

What work would you like to do?
I would like to work for something big, like Pixar or Dreamworks or something like that.

Any advice for girls who want to get into it?
Just go for it. No just do it. Don’t care about it if people think it’s weird, Just smile and take everything as a compliment. Put as much effort into it as possible and people will be impressed.
