“…Seeing as I want to be part of the media industry, it’s only right I have such a large inetrest in it, especially magazines.

I think I’ve been reading magazines since I could read.

I was a good reader from a young age, so I pretty much read anything I could get my hands on. From my Barbie magazine to the latest edition of Elle, magazines have seen me through my years.

It dawned on me yesterday, just how much magazines have contributed to my life.

That does sound rather sad, but it’s true.

Most of the advice I give or thoughts I have, have been influenced by magazines.

This shows just how much of an impact the media can have. Teen magazines contain a lot of depth and advice for growing teens. I think this can be very helpful, young girls may find it difficult to talk about personal issues with anyone, but if a magazine can offer advice to them, surely this is a good thing, right?
From talk of periods in Shout, to the safe sex campaigns in Sugar and Bliss, these magazines can really offer a support line to teens.
