I love food.
I love pretty things.
I love when people make pretty things based on food.
I love, love, love Twinkie Chan.
You should too.
Who is Twinkie Chan?
Quirky. Colorful. Snack-crazy. Self-motivated Sleep-deprived!
Miss Twinkie, we heart you! What you all about?
I’ve always been a little bit crafty. When I was younger and saw something I liked in a store, my mom would always tell me to go home and make it. When I started working in an office after college, I could never figure out what to buy for my boss, so I’d make her all kinds of crazy stuff like hand-painted picture frames decorated with her favorite breakfast cereal. She always encouraged me to exercise my creativity more, but I could never figure out what I wanted to focus on.
Creativity sometimes just comes out of necessity. I needed a scarf. I wanted it to be cute. Pretty soon I had 10 scarves but only one neck! So I decided to try selling my food-themed scarves .., and I was totally surprised that people actually wanted them. I chose the name Twinkie Chan for my brand because I wanted something fun and food-oriented, and I also re-claimed my mom’s maiden name for kicks!

I am a sucker for all things craft.
If I say so myself, I’m pretty damn cute for an illustration but I can’t take all the credit, nope, the lady responsible for making both myself and the pink ladies look totes adorable is the g-g-gorgeous miss Holly Lloyd!

Now, if ever there was a time for trumpet-blowin’ this is most definitely it.
So, I’m totally heartin’ Ugly Betty.
Jenny Valentine (how showbiz?!), is author of Finding Violet Park, a quirky and original voyage of self-discovery triggered by a lost urn of ashes.

Girl bands rock. Poppy and The Jezebels are a girl band. They play instruments and everything. We heart them. You will too.
